A new approach to labour migrants inclusion: the Migrants Economic Integration Cluster (MEIC) approach. It aims to strengthen the cooperation and mobilisation of employers and social and economic partners through the activation of “cluster networks” at the local level, meaning a local multi-stakeholders network enabling to manage the multidimensional process of migrants’ integration.

On June 9th, ALDA held its 4th and International Capacity Building Workshop within LIME project. The aim of this online event was to discuss the following topic “Migrants’ Labour inclusion: Networks, Cluster Activation and Consolidation” at the European level.

Tackling two key topics also addressed by the Conference on the Future of Europe, namely migration and digital transformation, the spotlight was on the projects LIME – Labour Inclusion for Migrants’ Employment and DIGITAL – Supporting democratic union and active citizenship in digital era.

On February 1st 2021, the kick-off meeting of the project DEVOTE – Developing the Competencies of Teachers to Integrate Students from Migrant Background into European Schools took place online and was hosted by ALDA, project’s leader.

They should have been in Madrid, but instead the EPIC project partners gathered online, each connected from its country, for the EPIC Project’s Coordination Meeting.

On the 22nd of September some of EPIC partners, Solidaridad Sin Fronteras, ALDA and kitev, joined for the 1st session of a new edition of the ALDA Talks to share with the audience what the EPIC project is about and what integration initiatives the different partners are carrying out in their territories.

The EMEN – European Migrants Entrepreneurship Network project is coming to its conclusion, and we are happy to share with you an invitation to their last online event taking place on September 24th as part of the web-conference titled “Growing Europe. Boosting migrant entrepreneurship networks”!

The association DRPDNM from Novo Mesto, Slovenia, organized safe outdoors events involving local youth, all within the framework of the project IMPACT.

In the month of June the EMEN Consortium hosted a series of four webinars on the subject of “unlocking diversity”, where each webinar analysed the way diversity specifically contributes to the development of new businesses and to the better inclusion and integration of vulnerable groups into society.

From June 17th to 19th, 2020, the EPIC project hosted three online “focus groups” together with its whole partner consortium, led by Dr Giovanna Astolfo of the Bartlett DPU and by ALDA project manager Dolinda Cavallo as part of the Research and Data collection phase of the project.
