Project developer

Where and when: ALDA office in Vicenza (IT), starting from September/October 2024

ALDA is looking for Project Developers for its Project Development Department.
He/she will work under the supervision of the Director of Programmes and of the Head of Development, by undertaking the main following duties and responsibilities:

  • Administrative and office tasks: activities related to the preparation and the submission of national, European and international projects.
  • Project development: partnership building, projects drafting, elaboration of projects’ budgets, preparation of the application package, submission procedures, etc.;
  • Support/Technical assistance to members and partners for the development of European and international projects: analysis of the needs, identification of the funding sources, project development, consultancies, etc.

Skills needed:

  • University degree
  • Languages: excellent verbal and written skills in English; very good knowledge of Spanish is mandatory for the developer with “focus on South America”; very good knowledge of French is mandatory for the developer with “focus on MEA”. Any other language (especially Italian) is welcome
  • Previous professional experience in project development (at least 2 year)
  • Previous experiences in the civil society sector
  • Strong research and analysis capacities

Terms of contract:

The contract will preferably start in September/October 2024 and it will be issued for a period of 12 months and can be renewed subject to availability of resources and satisfactory performance evaluation at the completion of the first contracted period. Remuneration will be based on the experience and qualifications of the candidate. The proposed salary will follow ALDA’s staff regulation, depending on the experience and seniority in similar positions.
